I've been using this shop for over 10 years and can say I've always left very happy with what I paid for quality work. I've since moved to Colorado and must say I truly miss having a shop like NTT. I never appreciated what I had in a good and honest shop until I moved to a new city and had car problems. The first time we took our car to a mechanic there, while they were nice, I left concerned that I way overpaid for the service provided as well as whether I truly needed the work that was completed or not. North Texas Transmissions has worked on several of my vehicles in the past. The owner is fair, honest and his shop does excellent work. My last vehicle was a 1994 Suburban that they worked on before we moved to Tennessee. They worked on my transmission when it barely had 100000 miles on it. My suburban now has 239000 miles on it and it still has the same transmission they worked on years ago. And it still pulls my boat just fine. I highly recommend North Texas Transmission for your transmission repairs!

I recently took my car in for a transmission problem and was very pleased with the service I received. The dealer had told me I needed a new transmission which was going to be pretty expensive. A co-worker told me about North Texas transmission and so I took my car in. It ended up just being minor transmission problem they were able to fix in a day. I'm glad I found an honest shop to take my car to. They saved me a lot of money by just being honest and finding the real problem with my transmission.

I know this may sound "cliche-ish" but I would not consider taking my vehicles to any other shop. I have known the owner, Richard on a personal as well as professional level for years and he has built his business and reputation on honesty and integrity which should come as no surprise if you've had any dealings with North Texas Transmission. I recently took my Hummer in and he quickly made me aware that what I thought and anticipated was a serious problem and costly was only a matter of needing new tires.
